NEC FASHION EMBROIDERY & STITCH SHOW

We are proposing to have a coach to the NEC Birmingham on Saturday 26 March. Leaving Harrogate at 8am arriving around 10.30 and returning at 4.30, back to Harrrogate about 7pm. TANGLED TREASURES

Our workshop with Alysn Midgelow-Marsden was a very interesting and varied day, an excellent workshop enjoyed by all. We thought we could knit and crochet but using wire instead of wool gave a new dimension to our skills. We began with samples of garter stitch with various thread thickness then began adding beads, after lunch we moved on to crochet again beginning with basic stitches and adding glass beads. Alysn gave us lots of ideas, it's just down to us now to use our imagination and experiment.
